Terms of use
Last updated 7 September 2026.
These terms cover installing and using Produpoint. Produpoint is
licensed, not sold — you are given permission to use it, and
that permission has conditions. The full licence text ships inside the product
as the file named LICENSE, and it is the authoritative version. The
plain-language summary below is here so you know what you are agreeing to; where
the two ever differ, the LICENSE file governs.
The short version. Four things worth knowing before the detail:
- What you build is yours — the code, the product, the business. That beats everything in section 2.
- Unlimited projects on one licence. There is no cap.
- Your key can be revoked, and the licence can end.
- There is no warranty, and liability is capped at what you paid.
1. What you are allowed to do
If you have been given access — an invitation, or a licence key — you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install Produpoint and use it to build your own projects. There is no limit on how many products you build with it.
2. What you are not allowed to do
Without written permission, you may not:
- copy, publish, share, distribute, sublicense, rent, lease or sell Produpoint or any part of it, to anyone;
- make or distribute versions derived from it;
- remove or change the copyright and attribution notices inside it;
- use it, or anything derived from it, to build or run a competing product or service.
Your licence key is yours alone. Sharing it is the same as sharing the product, and it is what a key can be revoked for.
3. What you own — and this part beats section 2
Your project is yours. Everything Produpoint helps you produce — your source code, your documents, your designs, your plans, the repository as a whole — belongs to you. No claim is made on it, no royalty is owed, and nobody needs to review or approve it.
The starter files it writes into your project are yours to keep.
In normal use Produpoint places templates and generated documents into your own
repository — files like CLAUDE.md, README.md,
ROADMAP.md, BACKLOG.md, CHATLOG.md,
architecture notes and feature specs. For those copies you get a perpetual,
irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, change, publish and
relicense them however you like — including under an open-source licence, and
including after your Produpoint licence has ended. No credit required.
What this does not cover: Produpoint's own working content — its skills, commands, agents, hooks, scripts, reference material and manifests — stays under section 2. In short: what Produpoint makes for you is yours; Produpoint itself is not.
4. Updates and your key
Your key is what lets your copy of Claude Code download Produpoint and its later versions. If a key is revoked, or a paid licence lapses, what you have already installed keeps working — you simply stop receiving updates.
5. Ending the licence
The licence ends automatically if you break these terms, and it can be revoked at any time. When it ends you must stop using Produpoint and delete the copies you hold. Section 3 survives: your project and the starter files placed in it remain yours regardless.
6. No warranty, and limits on liability
Produpoint is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including the warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. To the maximum extent permitted by law, YuTom is not liable for any claim, damages or other liability arising from the software or its use.
In practical terms: Produpoint builds software with you, and you remain responsible for what you release. Review what goes live, keep your own backups, and do not rely on it alone for anything where a failure would be costly.
7. Third-party services
Produpoint runs inside Claude Code and needs your own Claude account. Your use of Anthropic's tools is governed by Anthropic's terms, not these. Produpoint is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a product of Anthropic. If your project uses other services — a host, a database, a payment provider — their terms apply to those too.
8. Attribution
Produpoint adapts engineering disciplines from
Superpowers and
GitHub Spec-Kit,
both distributed under the MIT License. Their notices are retained in full in
the LICENSE file that ships with the product.
